So Anyway...

ouch 90's here with 97% humidity--- 2 DEHUMIDIFIERS running 24/7 AND central A/c and still 48 % is the LOWEST I Can muster inside the house---

Im assuming yours is a dry heat GM? Perhaps some hot gloves so you do not burn your fingers when going tinkle?

serious that is CRAZY hot
We had a pool built in the back yard last year. It has become our daily staycation escape from the heat.
Yes, it's strange that the humidity has dropped to 18%, as we normally have that SE flow from the Gulf!
I shocked myself several times today touching the shopping cart at the grocery store.

105 degrees (41C) today in frickin San Antonio.

122 in Arizona. Feels like an 80 degree day in Los Angeles. Got home to a muggy, humid 108.

I miss Arizona...

Gas is $1.25/gallon cheaper. A 3 bed/2 bath/1,700 square/foot home is over $100,000 cheaper than here...

Left Arizona at 12:00 noon today. Rolled into Palm Springs just before 4:00pm...
I'm going to Palm Springs tomorrow. It's gonna be 120 degrees there. I'm leaving my house at 5:30 am and hope to be there by 8 am when the customer opens. Good thing I'll be in a nice A/C cooled building while I'm there and killer A/C in the vehicle I'm driving. It's gonna be a cool 101 here at my home tomorrow.

I lived in Palm Springs for 2 years. There is so much artificial irrigation in the area that it drives the humidity through the roof....

Not that it really matters, but they are forecasting a high of 122 now :flame:

I'm the opposite. I would choose Hell over Florida....

Yea, ya know there’s something a miss when the entire backyard with the pool is screened in. One of my sisters lives in Port St. Lucie.

My wife and I really love Arizona. I'm a mountain person, but my wife doesn't like snow and I love it, but we both find something in the desert we can both appreciate.

The show went great. Huge outdoor party with the tennis courts converted to a dance floor/mosh pit. Naturally, I was tapped to perform "Ace of Spades" as the finale, and Man, what a reception that song receives when performed in a Motörhead-faithful vein. For the rest of the show, all I did was play guitar, which is goood, because I find it very difficult to play and sing certain songs. Trying to wake up this morning....

Got my eye on a Epi Les Paul with a broken headstock. I want to see if I can get it, paint it flat black, machine a groove in the top of the neck, fit a wick into it. soak it with hand warmer fluid and ignite the wick while playing....
