Yes, the Lagunitas IPA's and the big bottle of Lagunitas Maximus are hoppy beers. The green label ones are Sierra Nevada Pale Ales. Approach with caution...

I think probably my favorite beer of all is Modelo...I guess my wife's tastes have rubbed off on me. Its so smooth and easy to drink - 24 go down like nobody's business!!!
 
So, anyway...picked up a tick in the top end of the Mustang's 4.6L 3-Valve V8 a couple of days ago. The injectors on a Ford are very loud and makes diagnosis difficult.

Last night, I shut down cylinders 5, 6, 7 & 8 and listened to the valvetrain with a stethoscope. The noise is most noticeable on cylinder #8 intake and a lighter tick can be heard on #5 intake.

I had a similar issue on the right bank last year, where I had a worn needle bearing in the roller rocker arm, so I replaced all 12 rocker arms and the RH camshaft because of a groove in #1 intake lobe.

It's a super easy repair operation. I used only an 8mm, 10mm and 14mm socket, a timing chain wedge tool and small torque wrench. The camshaft and all the rockers on a bank can be swapped in about 90 minutes.

I'm planning on digging into the left bank tonight and hopefully, I caught this before the roller had a chance to score a camshaft lobe...

I'm not exactly sure. I got it just over 5 years ago, when these were first announced. I remember waiting for the release date, and placing the online order with an unknown-name supplier. At the time, I paid about $400. These days, you can order the Marshall fridge from many different suppliers and there is also a smaller 3.3 cu. ft. version now ($350) as opposed to larger 4.4 cu. ft. version ($430).

And... the knobs go to eleven... :dood:
 
So anyway, I'm fixing to go back over the SGPO Lesson of the Week series from Frankd at ETSG from a few years back.
As an SGPO member in good standing, I want to see how I fare with some of those I didn't keep after.

is / was Frankd over there Frankblade here?
