So Anyway...

An absolute classic. Peter Green is God. He is definitely Godder than Eric Clapton, anyway!

That is a B.B. King song and this is what Mr. King had to say about Peter...

B.B. King said: "He has the sweetest tone I ever heard; he was the only one who gave me the cold sweats".

So anyway, I found my first very satisfying stacked OD pedal tone. I am inspired to try new stacks and happy about having a bunch of dirt pedals on the board.

So anyway,

I just replaced 11 feet of old copper pipe with pex tubing. I have been getting electrolysis leaks in the line and I am hoping this will break the cycle. Now, back to guitar!

isnt that when you pee during hair removal?

Not exactly, but close enough to cause trouble

Usually, what people are really referring to when they say electrolysis is galvanic or dissimilar metal corrosion. Galvanic corrosion is caused by self-induced current created by electrical potential of two dissimilar metals in contact with an electrolyte. It can occur when two dissimilar metals (such as copper tube and steel pipe) are connected in the presence of an electrolyte.

I like Adrian's take on it more than yours!

I Have some interesting "takes" on things ---many I do not post as they are way to interesting.......or bloody...which you REALLY dont want with your electrical follicle removal

I hope you checked whether anything important was being grounded by that pipe...

Thank you for the advice. This was a simple 1/2 inch cold water pipe that was easy to trace. I will keep that in mind for all future replacements.

Pex is definitely the way to go in places that tend to freeze. My friend's place in Norway uses copper, and they have to wrap mains powered heating tape around the pipes in the cellar. Mind you, that does keep the water running as well as stopping bursts.

Enjoying eSGEe's old guitar Papa Smurf (formerly Blueberry). I will say it again...Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

(FYI- the picture behind the guitar of red strat is part if a digital slide show)
I remember when Adrian bought that big blue baby! He got that and then sold me Aggie.... Or did he sell Aggie to me and buy the blue one? Either way, I remember.
