So anyway, I got up just a little earlier to catch some of the lunar eclipse overnight.
I first saw it at a little past about half obscured on the waning phase.
The crummy pic is about 20 min after that.
Very cool.
I can understand why ancient peoples were freaked out by this.

Progress. I sanded back the color. I should have never dyed it before the glue up and finish sanding. No harm though. Another chance to improve my skills

So anyway, got stoned again & now have 36' parking for Jeep & Boat under roof. Savoring these additions as am running out of space to build. Always enjoyed building & tearing house apart & restoring. Starting the interior of my 1880's house after Christmas. Have to tear down to joists on main floor

So anyway, I am very happy with my second effort

So anyway, about 24 hours ago I started the process of resizing all 68,000 + images in 15,376 threads to be no larger than 2500 x 2500. Some of the full size images may have been converted to thumbnails in the post. I'm still tinkering under the hood, but I left the engine running and the stereo on for y'all. We are down to only 2,094 images left and the image size converter ran out of gas or took a nap. I'm rebuilding the thumbnail cache now and gonna walk away from this keyboard. I'll keep an eye on the progress of the rebuild, but all should be fine.
