So Anyway...

Price of wood here 2x4 last year was $4.05 per board this year $8.32, very happy we built our deck on our summer home last year, prices gone up due to covid, high demand and lumber shortages.View attachment 63179View attachment 63183

Thankyou sir!! Yes the wood has just skyrocketed . Prices have been going up on pretty much everything. Good luck on your floors, stay safe on getting them done..:)

SO ---- what woulda been 300.00 worth of wood a year ago is now 550.00 worth
and a "fun" weekend project.

So anyways,, next chapter of life begins. First band practice Saturday.

TBI & a hit & run was the most severe challenge ever... stewing for 5 years as everything around me collapsed.. part of me feels like settling it properly with the perp ,,my cancel culture.. since justice is totally gone ..

new idea.. palletts..going to use free pallets to build out back.

Brave man. I went with the Cologuard, as flawed as it may be.
I guess it's better than doing nothing. In my case, I need the full royal treatment. In 2003, at the age of only 45, a cancerous tumor was discovered in my colon. With a very successful surgery and no need for chemo or radiation, I was very fortunate. Got to get checked up like this every three years... :rolleyes2:

So anyway... The previous two days were spent prepping for and getting a routine colonoscopy. I know it's only temporary, but for right now I'm not so full of schit anymore... :dancepoo::dancepoo:
I’ve had 3. The first time it was this small bottle of Fleet stuff. Boy did that clean out the pipes. The last one, a few years ago I had to drink a gallon of what tasted like salt water in like a half hour. I couldn’t get it all down, yuk. Hope they have something better next time.

My mon had colon cancer. I’m on the 5 year plan. After the second one the Doc asked it I wanted to see the video; I passed :run:

I’ve had 3.
This was my 7th!

Hope they have something better next time.
These days it's like two 32oz bottles of Gatorade mixed with a whole bottle of Miralax. Much better on the pallete... (y)

I'm awake for the whole show with a TV monitor to enjoy Mr Toad's wild ride. I actually watched two polyps getting removed! Quite intewesting... :giggle:

I was told this morning that wood is like gold, because I used 5 stringers on a 4’ wide set of stairs, which equals 12” on center for a commercial project, not someone’s residence.
I was told that I should have gone 16” on center, boy am I dumb,,, I have never built a set of stairs at 16” on center, and the plans are not up to speed, because Thayer would typically say 5-6 stringers equally spaced, to what ever your width may be..
