So Anyway...

Sheeite. I've been in the hospital at least 30 times in the past 5 years. Hard living has caught up with me. I take enough medicine to kill a horse everyday just to feel normal. Life made me slow down. Everything hurts when I get up in the morning. I need a pot of coffee to adjust my attitude for the day. I guess it's better than the alternative.

A lesson in moderation:

Pictures of my guitars often cause me stress. Although I rotate them, I feel guilt over not having played the ones at the back of the rotation in a while. As a result, I decided not to have a guitar slide show as my desktop background while re-configuring my computer.

Mind, you, this is not a complaint, just an observation. Simple is best. Sometimes, it is not getting what you want, but appreciating what you have.

(Insert eSGe saying..."I can solve your problem. Just send me some of those guitars")

It seems I am finally getting through to you---- they can vacation here in the swamps---- the languid humidity and balmy temps can moisten dried woods and give them a young youthful glow..... HOLY SHIT_

eSGEes Guitar SPA!!!!!!!
Is your guitar ----needing to rejuvinate--- is it dry and cracked and brittle---- sounding thin and wore out----- perhaps it has seasonal depression because its been couped up in cold climes?????

SEND IT SOUTH TO the Guitar SPA!!!!!!

where it will be treated to hours of moist humid air ---heat---- and constant massaging from a dirty old man ;)

Sabbath is one of my earliest influences.

I love everything they did with Ozzy.
1972: I'm a 14 year old freshman in high school. A friend hands me some headphones... I'm like: What the Hell is that? All that heavy and crazy sound. Defensive instincts take over: I don't like this... it was the new release of Vol 4... Black who? A lot of "stuff" happens the next two years... so my first ever concert (1974, Long Beach Arena) is Sabbath following their Sabbath Bloody Sabbath release: Oh that sweet permeating smell, the volume rearranging my internal organs, the thousands of fans all moving and symbolizing with the vibe of the music, and thousands of the hottest young ladies I have ever seen... I am so hooked now.

Fortunately, I got to see Sabbath one more time with Ozzy following their Sabotage release. During this time, I saw Blackmore's Rainbow with Dio. Then Sabbath with Dio. Then Ozzy with Randy Rhoads. Yup... pretty fortunate!
