Well, on Friday of last week we had zero snow. Here is this AM. Just over 30cm, 12 inches, of snow plus wind jn 2 days. Second highest amount in a day in history here.
Snowblower blew an axle bolt. I need a really good one anyhow.
Those days when it was plus 32C and I was complaining about cutting the grass? I take it back.
Jist crappy phone pics

I can use a generic bolt but must go slow to prevent axle break. I want a good new blower so will shovel some tomorrow (the asthma doesnt like it) and a new heavy duty is here Wed. Then rock amd roll!

No snow here, but we had 30-40mph wind here Friday night through Sunday evening. Screwed up my duck hunting plans and also made it hard to sleep in my trailer. I am usually a really laid back kinda guy, don't like to get too excited over anything, but I found myself yelling at the wind to KNOCK THAT poop OFF...as if, lol

It's getting cold here though. 17°F last night, looking at about 25°F with light snow tonight....we'll see

It was -15C and a breeze. I wore my second heaviest coat. Sweat pouring off brow under toque, literally. Arms sweatimg. 60 is almost shorts weather. 68 os shorts time, No Jacket Required, Phil...
I'll wear shorts until my balls freeze. 60 is totally appropriate for some shorts for me, as well. 68, my shirt comes off and the tone starts showing. Lol!

I’m guessing the cold front that gave you the snow is hitting us here in NE Illinois this afternoon into the evening. It’s been low mid 70s for a week. Lows in the 50s..... which is our normal highs this time of year. Supposed to be 73F today for a high. Only 46F Wednesday. Thunderstorms and high winds this afternoon. For us, still too warm to snow. So we’ll dodge this snow bullet. That won’t last. :pound-hand:

Wow, and all we get is another stupid hurricane toying with us in the Gulf.
Talk about stark contrast...o_O
Been watching those hurricanes this year. We have a very good friend that lives near Sarasota. So far she’s only been brushed by the ones that have come up the Gulf. Some rain. High tide may have been a little higher. But so far, no wind.

I'm bout 20 miles north of Sarasota.
We had a real windy day Sunday.
Was at an outdoor American Legion function and the vendor tents were going airborne.
Beer cans and cups were flying off tables, I was hit with a flying clamshell full of coleslaw, and then the rain put a kibosh on things at 3:00.
We had fun.

You Floridians with your hurricanes are like Californians and earthquakes and us northern plains folk and our blizzards. Eh... just another day out of 365..... pass the beer.
