My gear quest has been a blast. never intended it to get to this point. Was always 2 amp 3 guitar for the live work, Content, gigging, then when the wife got a serious brain injury..life changed..quickly & radically !! Had to stop the band(8 years of progressive work & getting to playing out every weekend) Have to take care of her 24/7. After awhile..figured life will be forever changed..sold the harley and luckily we are more kid/grankid centered so our possesions were limited &. We agreed the harley money could be my gear money. Which was cool.. truly have got into gear..learned how to take things apart & really hone in on tube amps. Am blessed with the gear that works for the music. really dont want more..but enjoy the hunt..so this weeknd.. challenged myself to put together a strat from the couch. from ebay & CL. Going to build & sell(hopefully lol) to keep me busy while i am taking care of Mrs BFT. She has been cool with all the gear in the house(bandroom out back) cause the 1 time i was down there..she fell & couldn't get up..so made the choice to just stay near. The strat parts added up to $138..that still amazes me it can be that cheap. Found out local CL will give up $250 range consitantly for partscasters & one where you play the actual guitar you are selling in a demo seem to pull a bit more. Hoping this new endeavor will allow for new gear without accumulating !

Trident ..i know ,man..she has some serious medical to get thru here in next few month. Big factor, have the offer to buy my business, & it is def going down,so hopefully everything times out before winter. It;s sad, we restored a house built in 1880. was almost finished, There is no more proceedures after this for her to have. 3 years, can't even have our band page up & pics..so worn out by the system...looks like a possibility of Sebring area, family is there & it would make sense.
 
That is a nice area, and still its not that far of a drive for us to meet someplace!
Gotta take care of Mrs.BFT first and foremost for sure!
Doing the move in the cooler months will also be easier for her....
My thoughts and prayers are with you both brother! Its all timing and whats the best and easiest transfer for her now.... I know she is in good hands with you....There is a spot for you when you both are ready.... :cheers:
