Cant I do the same thing running a multi effect processor throuhg a tube amp (any tube amp) for thousands less?

Yep! Go grab a decent rack processor or hell, some interface like Amplitube and save yourself fortunes than this thing. All i see here is a pitfall nightmare once it breaks down. Bout like getting a tv repairman to work on a new OLED flat panel
