Lol i told my mom and my sister the same thing! Driving in this state full of rustbucket beaters with pillbillies and methheads behind the wheel is like playing Grand Theft Auto. Probably safer jumping
that state -- hell I witnessed a guy BLOW the red and PLW a car yesterday 15 feet in front of me.................

Florida driving is INSANE

My wife and I got an offer to go skydiving on July 17 with my brother and his wife , a couple hours north of here. We had always wanted to do this and actually, talked about it for our 10 year anniversary ( which is this year coincidentally). We have 3 certified jumps from 2 years ago but it was indoor skydiving ( which is recognized but nowhere near the same as the real thing obviously).

The dilemma I got came from my mom and sister, who are both admittedly scared of anything like this. They began berating me as being stupid and reckless to my 2 kids with lines like " you're gonna orphan them for what?!?! A thrill?!?". So yeah that's great, now im doubting myself over them ( my brother has 3 kids of his own and is in the same spot).

Anyways, with this lil info, ill put it to a poll.

If they are afraid of it, THEY don't have to do it. They might be scared of flying so don't do that either? Or cross the street or eat red meat or drink beer....

Exactly. Safer than long distance driving.

I talked 4 other friends to jump with me on my 30th BD. Somewhere I have a VHS tape I think I digitized. If I find it I’ll post it. Jumped from 13,500 feet and stuck the landing . First and only jump, I’m in the middle. My older brother quit after over 1500 jumps.
