I own many guitar picks of various kinds but this brass pick from TECKPICK is my #1. I've bought it back in 1987 and I've used it on and off. But I must say that this is probably the best pick I ever owned. I get clear tones from it and screaming harmonics when I use it right. I can get some really good sound shapes with this pick and it feels very stable. I guess since this is 2017 this will be my 30th anniversary with this pick.

That must eat the strings, doesn't it ?

Not really. It depends on how you use it. It's made of brass which is a soft metal so it has no real effect on string wear. It has string scraperers at the corners of the pick if you're into that motorcycle type of sound. It's a very versatile pick and you develop a light touch with it since it delivers the right amount of pressure on the strings to get the right sound. It's a great pick overall IMHO.

I have a Ted Nugent pick somewhere in my stuff, that was caught at his show at the HOB in NOLA back in '98. On one side it's a hand shooting the the bird at you and the other side has his name logo on it.

I have Brian Setzer, Rick Nielsen, and BB King picks, caught at the gig. I think I have a few more, too. But those are the ones I can remember.

Mhhm, somewere i might have one or two boring Fender or Gibson labelld picks. A Roland and another one labeled after Frank Deimel, a German luthier. One named "Gaby" from "Black Rosie", an all female AC-DC tribute band.

Much more interesitin is the one with the remark "Geklaut bei Peter Coura" (stolen from Peter Coura who had owned a guitar shop in Frankfurt). And i have a whole set of picks with the logo of the gitarrebassbau.de forum. Really good ones from Clayton. But i usually play Dunlop Jazz 1 with rounded tip. Both on the guitar and sometimes the bass.

Back in the 90's Steve Vai played my friends guitar for the encore at a show in Springfield Ma. It was with David lee Roth, and the song was Jump....jeeez, out of all tunes to pick.

So, we had back stage passes and met the band etc. Vai gave me one of his picks, I was so excited, and............ I have no idea where it is today.
