Do you know what pups you have in the king V?
Mine came with Duncan distortions.
Apparently they came with JB’s too.

Off the top of my head, I don't remember. I'll have to do some digging. I know they are Duncans for sure though. First set of Duncans I've ever owned that I actually like the sound of.

Sadly, i had to sell all my guitars to buy the Abbey Road virtual studio plug-in. But my harmonica and tamborine solos sound exactly likr George Martin is producing.

I built that one before I knew to take pics for anyone other than myself...
It's made from a bunch of scraps - much like the original.
Walnut strips laminated like a cutting board with mahogany veneer.
Neck was a MIC mahogany NR Firebird neck that I cut the head down to 4x2.
Made my own templates by blowing up pics to scale.

I keep meaning to take some family pics - all my Strats, all my PRSi, all my LPs together.
But it'd involve some arranging, and a bigger couch - or a larger space than my crowded little apartment.
I never seem to get around to it. So all my pics are just individual guitars.

I have a black one just like that in a drawer. I had it on my '74 SG back in the '80s and '90s.
