Session 5
Ambassador of Strings & Wings
I've always wanted to try an Orange.
Give one a try Cadorman, and if you get a chance to play a Godin guitar, you have my blessing.
I've always wanted to try an Orange.
I bought my grandson a TH30.I've always wanted to try an Orange.

The only signature guitar I wanted so bad and it was worth it, the tone out of this axe loaded with emg 57-66 active pickups through my Marshall is freaking mean! The past couple of times I played this set up in front of people it turned heads.

93..it became such a reference for chord work. 74 Super is tweaked a lil agressive on normal side, MV removed from circuit, bone stock on trem with Jupiter sc10 & the Super RI is a freak but my main finese amp. Found it at GC in towson MD..not working..offered 500..took it strait to my tech for HW PTP like rest..but in a/b against his 66..we were blown away. The power tubes are mismatched , all that was wrong was jewel light..got it working at GC & qiuick turned it off & went & found manager...made offer...he had to call someone..he came over plugged it in..told guy on phone light dont come on..i was like..are these dudes gonna even try to hook a guitar into it or turn it around to see if tubes lite up? sold...its dented..1 socket is funky but it has mojo..previous onwer must of dropped it & played it low..the Jensens after pounding them became so good..so precise....these 2 amps pulled me over from marshall as main amps..Love the Super Reverb. One of the best amps from that era. I do miss my Blues Hawk on occasion, your Nighthawk is looking mighty fine. What year is that? Mine was a 98.

Nope, but.....that's where I bought it. I think I traded it in at GC or SA one. My 79 LP was stolen and I went looking for another Gibson and ended up with that after checking around town. I may have a pic someplace....
That's a nice Fender. My current no. 1 guitar is a 2007 Fender American Select (mahogany):

burnt out on amps & guitars..quest satisfied in that area..we into preamps & mics ..new rabbit hole thats getting deeper by the day..but with full intentions of using the gear a whole bunch...Swamp should have its own studio & non noise restricted place to hang very soon..my goal would be to have someone bring a song they want to do & lets finish it that day.Personally, that would take more willpower than all humankind has to offer.
i am very nterested in ambient..have about 5 songs would like to do that have a definite background..been messing with keys a little but not really my thing..but everytime i get that keyboard out..sure learn something aplicable to guitar playing..wonder if its seeing the board layed out ...and you add fingers for note textures..ya have 10 digits to use & can double up octaves or run 2 patterns..but do NOT step on the bass player..lol...played with some keys wished i could of tied the left behind the back for the show,,,lolAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you neglected to mention another obsession to displace this one. I am a synth junky as well. If you end up in Sebring, or anyplace closer even, I can def pop in for a day. My style is prolly a lot different than most. Think ambient....
