I still have issues with "Chibbies" having Gibson logos on the headstock, as well as many really high quality copies of vintage Gibsons. Yes, maybe the initial seller says it's not real, but I've seen reports of really good copies being sold as authentic '58 and '58 Lesa Pauls for almost $200K. They were so good they fooled experts when being appraised.
I built two really good copies of '62 SGs, and they have my name on the headstock, and I have several more inlays for when I have enough time to start finishing some of my projects. If I am going to put the work into something, it will have my name on it. I could never deceive someone, and try to pass off something that isn't.
