I still have issues with "Chibbies" having Gibson logos on the headstock, as well as many really high quality copies of vintage Gibsons. Yes, maybe the initial seller says it's not real, but I've seen reports of really good copies being sold as authentic '58 and '58 Lesa Pauls for almost $200K. They were so good they fooled experts when being appraised.

I built two really good copies of '62 SGs, and they have my name on the headstock, and I have several more inlays for when I have enough time to start finishing some of my projects. If I am going to put the work into something, it will have my name on it. I could never deceive someone, and try to pass off something that isn't.

I'm not here to convince anyone either way.

I have two fake Gibson Les Paul's and one real Gibson Les Paul. One I built with the help of a Derrig Les Paul Replica Maker in Rancho Cucamonga, the other a Chibson Adrian gave me after I gave him a real 2016 Gibson SG. (True Story - Ask Him.)

My Faux Paul Custom and 59 Faux Paul are more thermally stable than my real Gibson Les Paul hands down. They sound and play fantastic, because, of course, I have worked them over for studio use.

Everyone chooses the fakes over the real Les Paul everytime. The 59 Replica is my number 1 guitar and it works daily in the studio and with our band. These make great stage props. To the average attendee, i am playing a 59 Les Paul and switching to a Les Paul Tuxedo Custom mid set, then sling both around my neck for show.

I wouldn't feel good about slinging a $200,000 Les Paul around like that...

Look into the ductless systems they are efficient and quiet, some brands aren't bad priced. Easy to install
