SHOW ME YOUR SONG IDEAS

Well this was done on a Marshall MG30 set at about 4 on the MV. Think I was using my dean. Theres a couple sloppy spots. My kids were sitting next to me during this so dont mind them.

So you've got my old MG30, you've got my riffs, what else do you want to steal?

Lol, I'm just kidding and you know it. But I see what you did there! Lol!

Actually, that sounded pretty good. The amp sounded pretty good too. Not sure I would have guessed it was the MG had I not known already.

Well your still a d*#k
Couldn't help to add my own twist in to make it less of just a riff

To tell the truth it would sound better with your lead added

First of all; this was all on-the-spot improvised riffage....I think I dig it. Maybe you're not diggin' it. LRT dropped by, and snuck my phone and grabbed this jam...

Well....if you ain't diggin', that's a-okay...

Tell me all about it. Honestly, I want to hear your gripes....I consider it great learning material.

I don't care, I like. I've got a recycled riff in here too somewhere.

BTW, this marks the entry of my BRAND NEW DEAN V SELECT, and my BRAND NEW BE OD!!! Plugged into a 2013 DSL100H and a 1960A cab loaded stock.

Nice job bro thanks for sharing your song idea , I am not getting any one else mixed up in your riffage sounds great, more time on it and it’s going to fall together in a very heavy dose of , current metal!!!
Cheers Mitch

Not sure that I'm supposed to put a like on this.
I real sound like a moron when I try to do vocals but it was drinking fun.
Wish that I'd of had my gear there to maybe add some flavor
Really fell that this could turn into a finished product

Like you said brother.
Little more work, put more effort in the vocals and you will have a
hard rocking piece!
Cheers Mitch

I always feel that way the day after a jam lol

Always sounds better at the time, doesn't it?

The good thing is that plenty of decent riffs were captured for something to use down the road. I wouldn't worry about the vocals too much unless you plan on actually doing the vocals come recording time lol

I figure I'm doing okay if my lone audience member just decides to start screaming like a banshee...

I couldn’t have said it better myself, and yes I listen to the whole recording not just the first minute!
And yes the bonus is the bonding felt between us all for our love of live music!
Cheers Mitch

It fun to make a fool of your self from time to time

cool..no fair you can thumb over..lol...hey..maybe its time to harness a tune...did you ever think of putting one together ? getting some vocals & bass & drums together..then giving a crack at the studio? or having a guy come to your garage & capture that raw energy..i think back & sometimes like the garage better than the studio sterility,,you keep giving me ideas that we need to capture the room in recording vs always close mic..or both

Yes I have just don’t have other contributions from anyone, I am try to get a couple of my tunes from the early 90’s that I have on VHS, to my Utube channel, yes brother I wrote the riffs , and lyrics on a couple of tunes back then , I just cannot seem to get a reliable bassist, I have some lyrics that need a bit more attention, right now and plenty more where they came from!
Cheers Mitch
