Funny, on FB some clowns were talking crap about Schenker sounding better on Gibson “V ‘s “ Sighting how ugly the headstock is.Any more Wings we haven't seen?

Truth is , Schenker could play a hellow kitty guitar and make it sound good.
He doesn’t care for Gibsons, at least what I heard years ago before internet. The neck/headstock is weak. He bends the neck to drop pitch a lot. Dean has never failed that I know of. He of course plays USA Deans.
I like the Deans obviously and I always have.
My frets are showing a substantial wear on my personal import.![]()
If all Dean's came with that headstock I might have been more interested, but I don't like the V headstock at all and have ignored Dean guitars because of it. Unfortunately, I've never even played one.My only Dean for now. I used to have a Dean mini-Z back in the day but it was kind of junk so it went down the road.

Fussy, fussy, fussy. If all Dean's came with that headstock I might have been more interested, but I don't like the V headstock at all and have ignored Dean guitars because of it. Unfortunately, I've never even played one.

The Mustaine V is 6 to one side.If all Dean's came with that headstock I might have been more interested, but I don't like the V headstock at all and have ignored Dean guitars because of it. Unfortunately, I've never even played one.

Now, do you see any kind of string binding here?If something looks "wrong" to me, it's wrong and not something I can live with. But mostly what someone said earlier about the string angle coming off the nut. I can't see it not binding.
My Grandma's maiden name was Dean.. I used to think I heard she was of Irish descent. I got on a genealogy site and found out she was of English heritage not Irish.. Also on one of her branches we descend from John Alden back in the Colonial days.Have a brother-in-law named Dean…. But no guitars. Sorry.
