She's no beauty, but her sister is kinda cute...

Lotsa info there, Rob. Nice seeing ya here.

I once was in a Music Go Round store I bought my faded SG from and they showed me an LTD Tele made just for the Music Go Round 25 yr anniversary. I seem to remember it having a nice neck as well. Oh and it was also a Humbucker/ Single coil version of a Tele.

As for the PRS being Ugly, I don't think it is. It's just I never liked odd looking pick guards. I'd probably like it naked.

I like my SG's & for me it's all about neck feel. Possibly what you may be feeling with the PRS?

Yeah, you're exactly right here - I really want the PRS to work out, but as yet I've not become comfortable playing her - the SG is just the nicest feeling guitar I've ever owned.

The shop was supposed to pick the PRS up 2 weeks ago and switch it for an SG or LP; and everyday I'm assured the delivery man will arrive and he never does. I'm gonna unpack the PRS and start trying to get used to that neck. I've read on PRS forums that the standard P90 is good, but that's plain wrong - it's very limited; it needs an upgrade, and the BK Nantucket was a very good upgrade (would be even nicer in the neck position...).

I think the PRS looks great. &, if I ever comes to terms with the neck and enjoy playing her (I will also change the nut if I keep her) then I need to check the wood under the pickguard and see just how I can route for a neck P90... I think it's possible.

Here she is:

& here's how it could potentially look (there's space for a volume knob, tone knob and a switch under the pickguard):

If I can come to terms with that bloody neck then I have two amazing pups that'll go into the PRS.

In many ways, I'd just rather sell her/return her and pick up a Gibson P90 SG or LP; just need these lying deceitful bastards at the shop to pull their finger out.

I kinda think you will figure it out, Betty. NOW, when will you change your name back? I hate seeing anyone PROFESS to be Grumpy on a GUITAR forum. it just doesn't seem right.
