Two new guitars within the last month, and a bass to come in a few days.

Here they are:

(sold that bass this week...)

Other than being the wrong way around, I like them.

Both new; the SG special has been in Korean shop mothballs for 6 years whereas the PRS has only been in Korean shop mothballs for 3 years - both play well; the PRS cost me about US$450 whereas the Gibson cost me US$620.

I've just put a Bare Knuckle Nantucket in the PRS which I will give a few weeks to settle in then give feedback. The PRS may or may not be a keeper, but she is very sexy.

The Gibson is ugly as sin, but plays great. I love the 490 neck, and I'll give the 490 bridge time to grow on me - don't wanna change anything about the SG.

Oh yeah, and the bass amp has gone too, but the new Yamaha amp has a bass setting. New bass guitar, cheapo, will be here in a couple of days; should look something like this:

My left wrist is killing me; I don't know how you lot manage to play this way around...

Very nice collection you have there! I love the SE One and there are many SG fans here.

Do you live in Korea? Are you a lefty? I once knew a lefty player who lived in Korea. He also played bass and guitar. He had difficulty finding lefty instruments to play too.

Anyway, welcome!!!

I really like them both. If a guitar "plays great", that's all that matters. I've had my share of dogs over the years. I'm even starting to like "TV Yellow" as a guitar color.

Nice guitars, congrats. Lives in Korea, just bought new PRS, then Gibson, just changed from playing southpaw to the right way, something familiar about all this. Welcome. Cheers

Indeed, many folks do like SGs, and I can understand why - the Gibson is the best guitar I've ever owned. The PRS is sexy and beautifully put together, but we will have to wait and see eggsackery how she grows, or not, on me.

Welcome and nice guitars

Thank you, JG - nice tele in your arms...

Thank you. Playing great is indeed a large part of the show.

Welcome to the Tone Rooms!

Thank you, Wav - and what a nice site it is; I wonder who put it together!

Welcome! Nice looking guitars. I love the PRS!

Thank you - the PRS is a looker. :D
