More great hand tooled work, fun, and art. Luv it, man...
Mistakes are when you learn things and build skills that stick in the ole skull bone (memory) and you don't forget them ;)
Mistakes are also a 'welcome to the club' moment from those of us that are willing to admit we make mistakes and have done been there done that type thing ;)
Remember, you watch the person that's not making 'any' mistakes because they are hiding them and/or blaming them on someone else (taken from an old man in a machine shop)...

And here with frets back in again - the repair came out nearly invisible

Neck pocket. The top ist still hold with screws, and there is a lot of work to be done until i can glue it on.

Great Project, Bea.

Btw, just out of curiosity, do you still play that duo with your bandmate Verena (it's Verena, isn't it?)?

Yes, we are still playing together and have a few demanding projects, after having performed Spain in September (street life, a remark You made on the jazzy sinde and Effigy on the rock side of our spectrum)

Further progress on the Primavera, sanded to 180. Promising. The neck pocket needs further work - i kept it intentionally a little bit short and shallow. And i am a bit afraid of screwing in the bushings - on the SG bass that was really adventurous...

The neck is already oiled, but i looks i have to take away the film (the material can build up sturdy films almost like oil laquer) in favor of a really thin protection.

AWESOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMME,, Bea.

In case you can't tell, I always get enjoyment knowing you are enjoying creating your own instruments, amps, and music.
Sure looking sweet.
