MY FIRST EVER GIBSON was a white SG with locking Kahler trem---wish I had it back -- it was beat to tar hacked and craved--- but man it HOOKED me so bad Ive loved SG's ever since'

Epiphone makin some nice guitars but why they use that rediculous vaneer on there 61 SG i have no idea. I think Ray has one of the older Epi SGs and it dont use the vaneer poop.

SG plug jack on the side could be nice.... but as for push me pull you...... in phase outa phase..... for me, I tend to follow K.I.S.S. Sometimes even that’s more than this feeble old brain can handle.

Coil split has never really been a draw for me, but the phase switch is something I really dig!

You know I've had my fair share of Gibson's...all the way up to a Custom Shop Historic and they never lived up to the $$$ other than my 2014 SG Standard which I got
on close-out for only $900...wish I would have kept it!

...... and that being said. When I bought my strat a couple years ago, it came with a button that brings the bridge pup in when using positions 4 & 5. I did think that was pretty cool and the only reason I bought the guitar.
