SG junior upgrades?

First of all, IMO, they look good and fit with the motif of a vintage guitar. Even the style of the Gibson logo script goes with the look of the stock tuners. Maybe the tuners don't have a high turning ratio, but they're probably pretty good and consistent quality. Maybe Mr Grumpy should make sure his nut is lubricated... It always works for me :D

Grump, you’re over analyzing this. Put that 24 mega pixel down (you don’t own a microscope I hope :D). The only relevant question is how does it feel?

Maybe Mr Grumpy should make sure his nut is lubricated...

I'm feeling that this may be one of those Mr Grumpy threads that starts nowhere, goes around the houses and ends back at nowhere...

I will lubricate my nut (and clean it), lemon up that board then just play the lovely little minx. I will try to get used to the tuners.

You're right...Mr. Grumpy should lube his nut for better tuning stability. Here's a video where he can make a life time supply of nut sauce with 3 simple ingredients.
