The disappointment from the crescent and the SG GAS that has been an on and off obsession for several years has me wanting to tug on my credit. I love the no pick guard look of the SGJ and the chocolate is simply mouthwatering.

The crescent moons were made in brown, but I don’t see them come up very often anymore.
I’m not looking anymore though.
I hope that you are patient, and find something cool.
For a little perspective, it took me around 6 months to find my crescent moon SG husk, and another 8 to 12 months to find my crescent moon V.
Best of luck.

Wav, I don't think the J stands for junior. If memory serves me correctly, when SGJ and LPJ were selling in current production, they had also had the 22 fret faded Specials. I am sure the J had a meaning and as we know along with it, came 2 more frets. no pick guard, and were reputed to be extraordinary players. Then they got even more desirable when Gib started blowing them out for about $400-$600 if memory serves me right. I seem to remember the SGJ’s had 490’s and also 61 Zebra pickups at some point.
