Yes they are, got it cause they are not quite as hot the reg JB & retain a fendery tone quality but then you have so much more on tap & its clear actually. Good pick up !

Been there, done that. I can't stand to hold one, I hate the body shape to play, they look cool, I just don't like playing them. And it has nothing to do with volume knob placement, that can be fixed.You should be Steve..
I thought about building one of the 7/8 scale versions, I think I might like that better, but I'm done throwing my money away on something I think I "might" like only to find out I don't.

Dude talk about a crisis..SG-Gibson Player its all i really know. Took my time listening & Got that Schecter with Black Limba Body & Wenge neck with better/clearer JB/59 pickups. Then this thing.. i am usually biased towards my SG's but these 2 guitars just opened up an arsenal of tone weapons.
So trying not to admit it even & oh the jazzmaster with those pickups... massive creativity exploding..thought i was gonna stop after last full album since December but gotta roll with this & write another...
The Strat can sit right on top in a mix very easily & naturally plus 2 & 4 tones..
I am not even trying to sell lol just went to another tone galaxy
