Seriously? Is this a joke?

I just could not resist, Notice this Mexican Strat is being sold from a location in the land of Fruits and Nuts.

The point would be not to pigeon hole yourself into one genre to begin with.... like Rick Beato, who is far and away more knowledgeable and thus more entertaining.
Beato is a producer, so it makes more sense. I also have a very hard time watching his videos. Especially the ones where he cries and throws a three-year-old tantrum about copyright issues when he uses artists' music without permission.

Hey now boys and girls. I happen to like my MIM Strat..... but at least I’m realistic on its value say compared to an America. Strat. ;)

IBLIVE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I was not doggin the Mex part. Perfect example of a $550-$$600 guitar New. Now a $300 guitar all jacked up and still no clue how he asks almost one thousand and 700 more than anyone in their right mind would spend.

I realize that. Just messing with you. No one here disses others for the instruments we play. You guys brag up a $300 Epiphone G400 as much as you do a $2000+ LP. I have appreciated the no cork sniffer attitude we have here. Refreshing.

LOL. Also have some corks I’ve been saving...... about a 1/4 of what you have in ONE box. :pound-hand:
A sad story is I glued about 5000 of them on this wall in our game room in our previous home back in 2017. The new owners demo-ed the wall to make room for a bathroom. Those 5000 corks (and my labor) went right into the dump.

I’ve been saving them for a very long time. Keep thinking I’m going to do some really cool project with them. Haven’t come up with one yet.... so we just keep drink..... I mean collecting corks.

I would come home after work, open a bottle, and tell the wife, “honey, I’m working on the wall :pound-hand: “.

OMG, Dono, Did you and whoever? actually drink that many cork stopped bottles?

I WAS going to ask if you worked at a bar before your cork wall post.

Jesus Chili, no. We had about 18,000 corks there. From about age 16 until into my 20’s I collected twist off bottle caps. I talked my friends into saving them for me too. I wanted to eventually make a bar counter top mosaic out of bottle caps and then dam the edges and pour a 1 inch thick acrylic counter top over it. Around 1982 I switched to drinking wine and well, I started collecting corks. Had friends save them but the jackpots are wineries when wine tasting. We’d ask if they have any corks we could have as we are saving them to do a floor to ceiling wall with them. Most gave us about a lunch bag full. Some gave more. The biggest jackpot was a winery tasting room on Alameda island in the bay area. It was basically a warehouse near the water. It was a group of about 10 of us doing tastings. When I asked, they said sure. The person and his helpers came back, with no kidding, 4 paper shopping bags full ! Many rows on the wall above are from Rock Wall winery :dood:
