I've played through a few owned by colleagues. Never performed with one. Overall impressions were good!Any experiences with Soldano gear, Robert?
I surmised you may have tried some from friends. I only have one friend who has one. His is a Slo 100, but he moved to FL.I've played through a few owned by colleagues. Never performed with one. Overall impressions were good!

The Engl Fireball 100 is currently one of the best value amps made, IMO. Yes, $1900 is a lot of money, but not for a high quality and a high rate of owner satisfied amp. And, still made in Germany!I've played through just about everything through my group of eclectic, gear collecting friends.
Thus far, I haven't played anything that beat the Engl Fireball and Powerball amps.
