J Didn't want to sing the heavies , almost didn't record this today, so said screw it & had fun..laid back & let it rip.. i suck, but got a song that is fun to play, @Mitch Pearrow SJMP .. bringing the Gibson's & Marshall's..its time again..just like 2018

R - 2014 Gibson SGJ 61 Zebra's> Marshall DSL50 into Celestion English Greenie>MXL990 n 45>JoeMeek 6Q & Celestion t75>MXL DX2 strait>GAPm73 both mic's on grill
L- 1998 Gibson LP 498t into JMP50 into Celsetion Marshall Vintage g12>MXL 990 on 45>JoeMeek 6Q & MXL DX2 Gap 73 strait, both on Grill
B - Fender Jazz into Ampeg pf50/SVT210 > MXL DX2 n grill
V - MXL 990( i cant use AT 3035 J uses)

i had to sing..lol. seriously thinking of spending time practicing more. It would allow the heavies to roll on, cause i just don't d them if she won't sing em.

With the DSL, JMP, JTM on top that 1960bx cab. I rediscovered simplicity plug n play. I truly believe Fender helped me with my Marshall's & Marshall helped me with the Fenders. Learning what the circuits do on their own & exploiting them for what they do best. The JMP tho..my gosh..lead & crunch monster..

Just plugged Goldtp int it & used bass side..Allman Bro's immediately. The Goldtop has those low output..very open & airy PAF tone
 
Here is the set up today for the song. Spent a lot of time with the JTM 45 & JMP50 last few weeks..just learning the fundamentals of the circuits all ver again & seeing which guitars they favored, what boosts worked. Then brought the DSL in. I believe the recent Fender amps have made me understand my Marshall's better. Having a Bassman & cab also is so cool to line then up & hear the nuances & the generation gain increase. the greenbacks on top & the Marshall Vintage & t75 on bottom is incredible.

Took me a long time to find that balanced match, also can mic for old school or tight modern..or blend !! With the next batch of guitars on way..should be a serious harder rock run,,feeling it again. Maybe life being so jacked up everywhere is bringing it out again. If i go get my SLX rig from my friend..my wife will divorce me..Slayer soon as yuo turn it on !! lol.
