Scaller Tune-O-Matic Roller Bridge with verticle adjustment

This looks good. Not sure how well it works in real life. Mixed reviews. Not a whole lot of money. Are you going to give it a try?

Yes ordered, along with 2 new necks. I should mention that I got a full refund for the all walnut guitar, so I am playing with house money.

This tune-o-matic roller bridge is intonatable and adjusts from side to side. For me this is interesting and may limit the issues I am having with my walnut guitars. Of course, I immediately thought of Robert H when I saw this and had to post!

I have one in a box somewhere.

They’re pretty well-made. The main reason I’m not still using it is that I got it for my ‘74 SG. But since that guitar originally had a harmonica bridge that is aligned straight, not angled, the Schaller didn’t have enough room for great intonation on that guitar.

The peculiarity about it is that the “axles” are actually small, threaded rods. This is good in that it allows for precise alignment of the wheel saddles. But, it also provides for more internal surface area, potentially increasing friction. And, it will force the string slightly sideways as the wheel turns.

Even so, I may try it out on one of my guitars again at some point.

Im confused...............you cancelled because it is only thumbwheel adjustable???? OR did it not fit the hole spacing

Because the installed bushings would not match the posts. Maybe I jumped the gun again. I guess I could remove the present bushings. I am having a rough day and should not be multi-tasking!

That sucks man sorry----

Hope your day improves--- I will refrain from throwing GAS on the fire the rest of the evening --- I mean for you Ray --- the rest of you miscreants are FARE GAME! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
