Months ago I bought some tickets to see Alice Cooper for my birthday which was a few days ago. This evening Dee and I drove down the highway to North Vancouver and had a great dinner at Anatolis Souvlaki. After dinner we headed across the bridge into Vancouver and the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The last time I saw Alice Cooper was in 1975. The concert was cut short when he fell off the stage and broke six ribs. He wasn't so acrobatic this time
At 70 he still has the energy though. The sound mix was terrible but the show rocked. How could you go wrong with three guitars trading off solos and one of the guitarists is Nita Strauss. I've never seen anyone play guitar while running around the stage like her. We had a leisurely drive back up the highway to our little home town. Great night, good food, good music, good times.
