I really do not think there is a correct shade. I can think of at least 3 shades of LP gold tops off the top of my head. If you want the correct shade for that particular model, that may be more difficult, but try Stew Mac to see if they have "Gibson Gold". If it were me, I would buy a few quality cans, test them on a piece of wood, and spray the one I liked best.Well, yes..I was just wondering about the correct shade.

I will POKE YOU IN THE EYE!I'm toying with the idea of making this a satin Goldtop.
I will POKE YOU IN THE EYE!
Do not --- it will alter the tone woods -- un balance the centrifugal cosmosian functionality and wreck the EARTH!
I’m thinking Robert forgot that gold is conductive. He’ll need EMI flame top gaskets as well as tempest grade pup shields. The pots might require chemical iriditing too. Whew, good thing he has friends in the know.
Yeah that! Oh, and gold tops are just plain ugly.I will POKE YOU IN THE EYE!

This should do it, if you can live with gloss finishThanks, Guys...If i do it, I want it to look factory produced...

Do it red with white stripes like Van Halen’s frankenstrat.
I dare you!
