Just what part of this doesn't comply to that? The nut slot in the 2015 Gibsons do nothing more than guide the strings over the Zero fret that's in front of them.

Because it's a one piece deal does not mean it's not a zero fret...Both of these pictures clearly show the nut slots doing nothing more than guiding the strings.

That is not what I see or experienced when I had one, but if you enjoy how it functions, that is all that matters.

I also had problems with the brass one because it was too soft. But, the polished titanium nut work exactly like the zero fret on my Gretsch.

Some people don't care for them in any fashion. I didn't see anything so great that I wanted to go out and change all my guitars like I do with locking tuners...

Yes, in the end, I am not a zero fret fan in any form

A couple of days ago when talking a deal, actually "deals" on a 335 for my wife (she's still undecided on moving on it or sitting) I showed photos of about 6 guitars and talked what kind of 335 deal we can do with each guitar. When the 2015 SG was shown they said "There is no deal at any price on one of those". Naturally I asked why and was told, "EVERY one sold has given problems". I pointed out I have the genuine titanium replacement and they had no idea what I was talking about. Amazing from such a big Australian company, actually it reflects badly on Gibson for not educating their dealers.

To me it says Gibson didnt want to send free nuts to Oz.
It wasn't widely published here if you knew ......you got one they didnt run ads or send out fliers to owners....

I like it.
The all cherry looks better to me than the yellow / black burst.
I think I could actually love one of those & even keep it single dogear.

Great score Ray!

ALl be it there -- 2 "pieces" a plasti/bone nut and an "extra fret" for lack of better terminology

how is this which is spaced rather the same--- and is in fact a nut and a metal "fret" --- just COMBINED in 1 (groovily adjustable-- we all KNOW YOU LIKE ADJUSTABLE) package.....
how is this not a zero fret then??
