It was time to make this guitar mine. It now has real wiring (not circuit board), regular 'ole tuners, (the kind you twist, not charge), strap locks, black screws, and a metal jack plate so it can take a 'rockin and keep on tockin. I previously swapped the brass nut for a tusq nut specially made for this guitar.To add a special twist, I took a Hoffner soapbar P90 pup, took it apart, bought some A2 magnets fot it, and screwed into a dog ear base plate. To keep it Jr-ish, I kept the dog ear and classic knobs, but put on the mirrored knobs instead. I am proud of my boy, Ray Jr.
