It was time to make this guitar mine. It now has real wiring (not circuit board), regular 'ole tuners, (the kind you twist, not charge), strap locks, black screws, and a metal jack plate so it can take a 'rockin and keep on tockin. I previously swapped the brass nut for a tusq nut specially made for this guitar. To add a special twist, I took a Hoffner soapbar P90 pup, took it apart, bought some A2 magnets fot it, and screwed into a dog ear base plate. To keep it Jr-ish, I kept the dog ear and classic knobs, but put on the mirrored knobs instead. I am proud of my boy, Ray Jr.

Mine were less than $20, so I don’t think they are a pro series :D
I can't compare prices since I buy bulk direct from China. If you get a big enough shipment, it is a very good value. I have been doing that for years with them, even before this site was up, which is how we came to know one another.

I need room for more parts.....:p

Ah the 2015 Star Trek Model! I love those 2015's while there were many nay sayers...Does it have the titanium zero fret nut?

Yes, it did. I just swapped the brass nut for this tusq one, which was specially made for this model. The brass had a tendency to develop grooves since the metal was soft. Gibson then replaced it with titanium for free, so I tried that too. I liked the tusq the best though. In reality, it was not a true zero fret. The bar at the end of the nut is no substitute for an actual fret a little below the nut, which is a true zero fret.

I had two of those 2015's a Les Paul Special Double Cut and an SG Special. I have also had a Gretsch with what you are refering to as a true "Zero" fret and I believe the 2015
Gibson line represented a Zero fret well enough...
