Neither could I, but it did get one, when I first put it together, I didn’t have a humbucker, so I put the single one in with the humbucker holes, then I put a 59 into it, then pulled it apart again to install the invader.. tuned it to D standard, that guitar has a bad ground at the moment , and badly needs a string change..I especially like the on black look.

[/URL]I used to be anti ceramic, but done well they can surprise you.Killer look!
I'm not really in to Ceramic magnet pickups but from what I have heard on youtube it rocks.
You can imagine this pickup was not expensive.
Me too!I used to be anti ceramic, but done well they can surprise you.
The problem with the ceramic magnet pickups in the Explorer for instance is it can be harsh.Me too!
I am not seeing a trem.......
I bought a Duncan Custom Custom A2 that I thought I would really dig. Turned out (for me) to be awful. I swapped in an A5 still no go. Finally, I swapped in a double thick ceramic magnet and it really cooks for a bridge position pickup. Ya just never know. The problem with the ceramic magnet pickups in the Explorer for instance is it can be harsh.
This pickup I will have to try first.
If it has low end with out being to flabby and top end is not harsh, I will like it.
That photo was taken before I finished it.I am not seeing a trem.......
I was just ribbing you good sir. That photo was taken before I finished it.
It does have a trem though
No problem brotherI was just ribbing you good sir.
The perfect armament for a battle-scarred warbird.Rusty did arrive yesterday.
I removed the screws. The surface is permantly rusted. The bobbins are not looking great.
It looks rough even compared to the picture.
I am cleaning it up. It will never look like a stock invader but hopefully it works better than it looks.
Maybe a Dremel wire wheel?Rusty did arrive yesterday.

Actually, I sanded the rust , soaked in a rust removal solution and painted them.Maybe a Dremel wire wheel?
Nice job!
