I don't think Chuck Taylors are expensive... At least not everywhere. Down here they're about the cheapest sneakers.

I've got Chucks in different colors. Those are my gig shoes.

I don't slip despite occasionally jumping like a fool. They're narrow enough for my pedalboard. They let everybody know I'm in the band.

Got to go shopping for some Gold ones to match the new Firebird.
