So the modern weight relief is what my 2010 50's tribute would have? From the Gibson site they also now do the Ultra Modern weight relief

Yeah. Tributes are part of the Studio series, all with modern relief.
Hard to keep track of all the different relief/chambering configurations. I really don't personally think any weight relief is necessary and I tend to prefer LP's with none but I get that weight is an issue with a lot of people. The ones with relief still sound great, but I really wish Gibson would offer more USA models without it for those of us who prefer the non-relieved backs. I would drop my credit card in an instant if they made a non-relieved Studio.

So, when I get home, i am going to pull the Les Paul apart and do some service items. It still has the same strings that came on it!!!
Fretboard clean and oiling
Green Keys reinstalled
Faber TP-59 Aluminum Tailpiece installed
Faber locking tailpiece shims installed
New strings EB nickel .010's
Copper shielding on the cavity covers (quick - not considered a complete job)
Straplocks installed with the MojoTone #6/#8 "no toothpick" screws
That should make it performance-ready...really has proven to be a great guitar!!!!

No, just saw a photo op....It was 122°F on that hillside and I didn't even break a sweat. Currently its 100°F in SoCal with 26% Humidity....
