My wife's Father was just diagnosed with inoperable/unsurvivable pancreatic cancer that has spread to many vital organs. Looks like we will be making a hasty trip into Central America...

Very Sorry for the news Robert--please convey our thoughts and support to your lovely (patient tolerant SAINT --- of a a wife ) :)
Safe travels
Prayers and good vibes your way

Well that sucks Robert, take it easy yourself man but it actually might help you relax a little from work, I know it's still a little stressful though, best of wishes for you & the wife!

I lost my best friend in December to pancreatic cancer. We had been counselors in the same school together for almost 12 years.
She fought it for several months, and was making progress up until November.

I'm not saying it was worse for me: just sharing the experience.

Ok, Gents...

Leaving Monday for Central America. Not sure what kind of communication I will have there, but I will try to stay in touch through whatever means is available in the jungle there....

Drummer announced last night that he is having shoulder surgery and will be off 9 weeks or so. Bass player said he has two kids starting soccer this week, so he wants to back away from the side project.

I guess I am officially without a full time band now....

Stay safe and hurry back.

You know...you could always try a solo gig. Pick up an acoustic guitar and do folk songs at open mic nights!
