Ritchie Sambora

There's actually no band out there period , that affects my life in any way..

I respect that. But I have to admit that music is such an important and central part of my life that bands/artist do in fact effect my life - I draw influence, inspiration and joy from music, and the best of it absolutely changes the way I feel about things and approach daily life.

I can agree with that. There are some artists that as they’ve passed I’ve actually grieved. Warren Zevon is one I remember shedding a tear. Glen Campbell. That one got me. Probably because he was fighting dementia. I will be in mourning when it’s Neil Young’s turn to move to the other side.

….. and this as well. But for me, more music in general. There’s almost no point in the day I don’t have a tune in my head. Mozart. Van Halen. Neil Young. Doesn’t matter. Spent Saturday evening at an Illinois District (Chicagoland) honors band concert. Eldest Grandaughter was in it. The following night, same girl. Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. One of the pieces they did was Symphony No. 5 in C-Sharp Minor. It was all great.

Point. I too would be lost without music.

He can't even sing anymore and chooses to continue to make a fool out of himself onstage.

His ego is so big he won't let it go, as people laugh at him while he performs.

The last vid clip that I saw of Sambora kinda made me think his manager should book his next gig at the Betty Ford Clinic...
