I found out from friends in England that acclaimed luthier and author Melvyn Hiscock passed away today. I’m sure many have his books on building your own electric guitar. I would have loved to have met him. My friends all say that he had an impish irreverent sense of humor, and an endless supply of crap jokes. He often said of himself that he was responsible for more unfinished guitar projects than anyone else.
