Yeah, me too. Maybe we need to work this out ahead of time. We might both be on borrowed time here.If I die, and you're still here, you better start my RIP thread with a joke!

I can just imagine the headline the next day.Something along the lines of "a Mexican, a Scotsman, and a dude named Steve walked into a bar..."!
What's funny is Kev could have finished that made up beginning of a joke!!!I can just imagine the headline the next day.![]()

Not unusual here. We talk about our dogs and cats and grilling almost as much as we talk about music gear. And spouses, kids and grandkids.Pleasantly surprised to come across pictures of our dogs on here.
Not sure what kind of surprise it was to find a picture of me with Finn, our youngest, in our kitchen at home in his birthday thread from this year.
As you should be and as are all of us here.Came across some photos of Kevin's job in a thread called " Cheers" (Sorry, I don't know how to post them here).
In the 20 years he done that job, this is the first time I have ever actually seen it and what it really involved. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't naive, I knew roughly what was involved but I suppose it was easier to block it out and live in denial. It would have been a lot more difficult to wave him off had I ever seen these or others like them.
Kinda proud of him though.
Kind of a running thing between Kev and me was, if I knew he was going out to the rigs, I would say a little prayer of protection for him. Mostly for the helicopter ride out and back since it was a long over water trip. Not imagining anything happening on the rig itself.Came across some photos of Kevin's job in a thread called " Cheers" (Sorry, I don't know how to post them here).

Damn, are we the only ones here?![]()
