Jim Lovell passed yesterday. A true American space hero! Gemini twice, Apollo 8 and Apollo 13. Seemed like an overall great guy. He will be missed. Godspeed, Jim.

Indeed. As well as the ballsy "let's go around the moon first as the LM is not ready yet" Apollo 8. He didn't back down from that.
