RIP Batman - Adam West dead at 88

The One and Only Batman! The only show other than Speed Racer that could get me to come in and watch TV!
All I needed after the show was a towel around my neck and a piece of rope tied to a stick for my Batarang
and I was outside "being" Batman!

R.I.P. Adam West you entertained the hell out of me!!!
 
A true original. Though the role of Batman restricted his career in many ways, Adam West will always remain in the memory of us all as the standard by which all others are judged as Batman. His personal life was quiet and unblemished by any sorted or improper behavior. In that, he did set an example beyond the character he portrayed. He should, and ought to be remembered as one of the original "Good Guys" from a time when rebellious youth dominated the film and television industry.
 
I sure enjoyed Adam and Burt as I grew up.

Thank you Adam for giving me Batman to look forward to the suspense, drama and subtle comedy held within.
 
He was my favourite Batman compared to Christian Bale or others like Micheal Keaton. Robin sure looked good. I bet he was his boy toy!
