Was just reading all this for the first time a couple hours ago. Knew he’d fallen. Knew he’d canceled shows. Then saw he was in ICU with the brain bleed and family was deciding about keeping him on life support. And unfortunately. Doesn’t appear to be fake news.

Boy does this hit hard and remind me of Robert.

So sad. In the mid '70s Ace made more young lads pick up a guitar than all the other guys combined. Hell, he probably sold more Les Pauls for Gibson than any dude in their history. Another of my idols gone.

I was never a KISS fan... nor was I ever a Les Paul guy.
But I wish all the fans well. It's hard to lose and icon.
This is how I always think of him... I never knew how he did it,
but I have read some about him and learned he had this feature
added to his custom Les Paul.

I am aware of how many young guys were led to pick up a guitar after seeing and hearing
this. I had influences too, but from longer ago. *laughs

But anyway, rest in Peace, Ace... there ought to be some good jams in Rock Heaven.
