Rig Rundown - Queen's Brian May

Can you IMAGINE what that ONE "RED" guitar is truly worth -- and how much (sorry a bit morbid) will be worth when Mr May shuffles off this round ball?

1 -- mainly only 1 guitar -- handmade---no other TRUE match---that is the ONLY one He and his Dad made---truly priceless

also-- is that a GROLSCH gasket on the strap button?????????

and the KILLER --queen (lol) statement at the end-- it is Brian that sounds like Brian on the rig he plays or a 50.00 "shittie" guitar.....he sounds like him.......classic

If there’s one guitar I GAS over it would be a replica or “signature” Red Special. One can part out an Iommi or Angus SG. You can duplicate an EC Strat. But there isn’t a guitar out there that looks like the Red Special. Shape or configuration.

I could never warm up to its appearance, although it probably plays well.

Guess I am attracted to the "different." When I went looking for an electric I didn't (at the time) want a Strat or Tele since just about everyone I knew played one.... so I went for a G400 since at the time I couldn't afford a Gibby SG. Frankly, I really like that guitar. Still my goto guitar if I'm in a rockin sort of mood. Since then I have added an MIM Strat and Tele clone to the arsenal. Add in the Hagstrom Semi-Hollow and you get the idea I like the oddball..... as I play them thru my ancient Traynor amp.
