Aye! This was an informative video for certain. Although now I am walking around speaking like William Wallace because I can't get the Scottish accent out of my head.
I must go now, fer I feel the need to storm the fields at Dunkirk with me axe in hand and newly aquired knowledge of EQ frequencies.

Not into reverb or delay that much on guitar but on vocals the Lexicon PCM 80 modified to a PCM 90 rules
The amps I build the EQ is fine tuned what I found on the real Dumble amps I serviced was treble CTS 2/35 270K
mid 250K linear Bass 320K linear with a 10K tail resistor for a total of 330K what that does is perfect EQ at 12 o'clock possession
on the controls.

Does that work on other amplifiers, or does it only work on Dumble type amps?

I don’t like the sound of actual spring reverb with high gain, so I use a Boss RV-6 in the loop on the +Delay setting and its perfect for when I need a little wet.

Real enough Ken was my first amp teacher sent me the transformer sets and when I passed the tone test sent me a logo and airbrake
next I serviced his modified Marshall's on the west coast until 9/11/2001 Alaska air cargo closed my shipping account.
our friend Jim called and said something is wrong with Kenny Ken told Jim to load up his Fax machine and Faxed Jim his life's work
72 hours later Ken was dead.
 
It's certainly a nice option to have a great sounding reverb on an amp. There are so many options out there on the pedal side with the "boutique" pedal makers offering loads of reverb+delay, reverb+modulation and reverb+reverbx10 that it can be a bit overwhelming at times. I've quite enjoyed plate and hall reverbs at various times too.
 
My YGM3 Traynor has an onboard spring reverb. When I play thru the amp, pretty much the reverb is always set to "3." Then generally using pedals, add in a touch of delay and chorus. I just like the tone I get. And as I've mentioned before, I tend to play pretty clean and at lower volume so these effects just seem to really add something.

When I play thru the GT1 and headphones, I dial up the same delay and chorus and a touch of Room reverb rather than spring.
