Restore this old radio or mod it into an amp ?

It's too beautiful of a radio to repurpose it. But if you do there is a site that prices out old radios depending on their collectability and it would behoove you to check there first just in case it can finance an even better build to suit your needs, just sayin
 
Picture sucks, but decals added to the knobs. Once they dry for a while I'll probably think out some Mod Podge to go over the decals and light green paint, once that cures then I can clear coat the whole thing. The green paint is a house paint from ACE Hardware - great paint, but I don't trust it with clear coats, hence the Mod Podge first. There a small ridge around the light green and I am hoping to flow the Mod Podge over into it to kind of encase the light green to protect it from the clear coat to come.
