Hey Robert, He mentioned it was well shielded and grounded. Made comment just how dead silent it was hum wise. Instantly thought of you and all your efforts to silence guitars over the times we have known you here.


It's an immediate deal breaker if it hums buzzes or squeals....no matter whose name is on the headstock or how much it costs.

With this YelloStrat, I can stand in front of my amp with no noise or feedback whatsoever....with the master volume between 7 & 8.

That too. It's not new though. When did Gibson start with the nibs?
Gibsons have had nibs of one style or another on their bound electric guitar necks since....I don’t know when...the 50’s?....it‘s been their “thing” for decades. However, they started to change their methods of creation in the early 80s IIRC...evolving to the current style....like the ones on your Burny.

That has had some fretwork done....no nibs. Not unusual for a re-fret.
