One of my first childhood concerts was Alice Cooper and ZZ Top.
I remember the live sound of ZZ was jaw dropping amazing. It had to be 10X better than any recording. I was blown away by the screaming guitars, erased.
They remain a life long impression upon me, an inspiration, an influence.
For many years I considered ZZ cutting edge; just couldn't get enough.
