Well I took it apart months ago to refinish it. My prep work was terrible and I screwed it up BAD! I spend the wkole night last night stripping it down and I painted it again today...

I've only got the back done but the prep work has paid off this time. Hope the front comes out as good as the back!

This is a very deep sparkle metal flake that requires a top coat. So if you see something that looks like pock marks is just a metal flake that caught the light...

I'll start with the "before" photo...

YES!!!!!!!!!!! What paint did you use?

Thanks! I love it too...it's called "Lucky Green". It sure wasn't lucky the first time I tried sparying it...cost me a can of paint
and about 3 hours of sanding to get it off. It was my fault for rushing into it...turned out great with proper prep work!

That green sparkle says "owegi" all over ;)
Me Likey...

I've got one of those black epiphones with P90's.
Mine plays great...

Mine played great as well, but I hated the flat black and since mine was so cheap I decided to experiment.

After I screwed it up the first go around it laid in the garage for months while I contemplated all the damn
sanding I was going to have to do. I just worked up the energy this last week and went to town...

Smart. Do that with the clear coat too. It flows thicker and more evenly. I did it with the poky coat on my AXL LP. Do you have to use a specific top coat?

They have a special top coat that they sell for the Glitter Blast. I didn't want to risk any adverse reaction
from another brand or type so I bought the one Krylon makes for it.
