Reflecting on the year and GAS

Every year around this time I reflect back at the sickness that grips us all. GAS!!
This year was a pretty good one for me. Only 3 pedals, 1 speaker cab and 2 guitars. Compared to previous years, I came out of it pretty good.
Not counting the guitars a refurbished, I bought the following for my gear collection.

Digitech drop pedal.
Vortex flanger
Corona chorus

Jackson pro series King V KVT 3 tone burst
Gibson signature Adam Jones LP standard silver burst

Randall 212 which I loaded with a pair of G12T 75s

How much GAS did you guys satisfy this year? And is there more to come?

Got a Bugera T 5 4 weeks ago today. Hadn't played regularly since 2021. Usually record a lot. 3 times the band got semi together. Re learn the whole set then everybody bails. Disgusted its not like years ago. Poster on a wall in music shop. tear off phone number..find a booth lol to drop a dime. Usually playing live in 3 months somewhere as a band. No discussion-therapy-analytics-daws-0101010-just a few people who wanna make music & are dedicated. Anyways..feel better now

Since Bug t-5

Epihone Casino
Epiphone Crestwood
Epiphone Firebird

Joyo American Pedal

Fender Reverb Pro
Marshall Origin 20

Spent whole month changing my music to a much earlier time. Have the amps gain down & speakers set up to not so much be about the heavies. Figured if i had a shot at playing it would be in less aggressive type environment. Recording binge to follow soon.

Way more to come as i trade off & switch things around.

No GAS for me in 2023. Last piece of gear I’ve purchased was a delay pedal last fall to replace my Carbon Copy that decided to quit working. In 2023 we built a patio. Refinished the hardwood floors. My wife found some cheap airline tickets thru SW…. So we took a couple trips. One to FL to hang out with her siblings for a week and one to Maui. And since we couldn’t be in the house while the floors were getting done, spent a week near Pigeon Forge TN and Gatlinburg.
