I need your help!!!

I took my recto at rehearsal today and I was disappointed…..

I feel like something is wrong with a amp but i might be wrong!

So here is my problem…

I have a foot switch and I cant get FX loop on when I hit fx button on…. Light is on but nothing happens…. Unless i select channel at the back but then its on all the time unless i switch pedal off itself…

How do i set it up so have the following…

Ch 1 clean

Ch 2 rhythm
Ch 3 lead with delay in fx loop

When I hit solo button nothing happens…..

When i back off front loop it loses drive…

At the back it has so many knobs its more complicated than woman…

Please help me otherwise i’ll sell this damn thing….

I sold my line 6 hx stomp because i could not make it work…

Ill send some pics of front and back if needed….

Both knob at the back are assigned to footswitch…

Fx vol is loud once its off main sound its quite ….

I just want to plug and play and that damn thing to chug…

Am I doing something wrong?

Ugh…I’m on a long day today…I won’t be able to look into this today.
From the manual…

Note the last line in the last pic: “Remember that the OUTPUT and SOLO controls are only active when the FX LOOP is engaged.”

I had a single solo rectifier. He'll of amp. One loud 50w amp with every style covered.

But that was a while ago.I don't remember it well. They do have a ton of options.
I bought a midi foot switcher that had 6 buttons off ebay because mine came with no pedal to switch.

He doesn’t have the current model. He has the same model era that I have. I posted pictures of the correct manual, relevant pages, above.
I did read that to be brutally honest I still dont understand it :hide: :X3:

I played with it today and heres what i did…

I set ch 2 as my main rhythm

Ch 3 as lead and i assigned knob to ch 3

This way i can make it work for me but i rather have same way as my DSL.

When i switch channels it pops…. ( is this normal?)

No. Not at all. My channels switch super quietly with that footswitch. Same with the effects loop and solo. Been a while though. I just got in. It’s too late, here, for me to fire it up to confirm tonight.

I used to just keep the loop assign knob on “loop on”…but I didn’t use too many effects in the loop…just chorus and delay…and I’d just shut the pedals off, more often than killing the whole loop. There were some songs that I liked to use the loop switch for though.

I never played around with the DSL…I don’t know how their loop is set up. The Mesa loop is my least favorite “parallel loop” type. The send and return controls seemed weird to me at first. I’m more used to them now.

On DSL its like this…

I have 6 way foot switch…

Clean, od1 ,od2 ,od 3 ,master on/off ,fx

When I switch from od 2 to od 3 it remembers to have fx loop on ( delay) also i can manually switch it off…. Its super useful live….

Back to recto….

If i set assign knob to loop on it defeats purpose of foot switch if i have to go back to my pedal board and do it there.

I think cabs are F*** at rehearsals and thats why i was struggling with vol….

But my band is loud as hell man…. Everything is on 10….

100w amps and still not enough… lol

I blame drummer and they are loudest in my band..bassist with his 1million watt rig…

I have to play more with recto to fine tune and find best way to make it work for me.

Sounds like the drummer and bass player need in ear monitors and to dial themselves back some, especially if 100 watt guitar amps don't cut through.
